His Name Is Jesus - 2 - Monday February 08, 2016
Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never leave you. I will never abandon you." Hebrews 13:5 NLT
Some of you may feel lonely today. Some of you may feel destitute. Some of you may feel all alone. Some of you may be thinking today, "I want someone like that in my life. I want a Boaz. If only I could have a Boaz. If only I could have someone come and take care of me and help me and make me feel safe."
Heroes of God, that's exactly who you have. And His name is God. His name is Jesus. He is your kinsman redeemer. Mankind will never fill that place. Your fathers and mothers and husbands and wives will never fill that place in your heart. God is showing Ruth, and He's showing you today, that He is your protector and provider. He's our kinsman redeemer. You will never be alone once you yield your heart to Christ. You are safe; you are secure. Your kinsman redeemer has arrived, and He notices you. He wants to be your provider and protector. His name is Jesus.
Saints of God, some of you are just struggling through the emotional baggage and pains of your past. I want you to look to Christ! Don't live in the past. Live in the present, and live in the future.
Hurts are a part of your past. It's part of who you are. God didn't make a mistake. But God put you where you were so that your story will speak as loudly as Ruth's. He'll do that as His grace is poured out upon your life, and as you fall more in love with Jesus each day of your life. Saints of God, believe it. Live it. Act upon it.
